How to reach us

The campus of the university is located in the southern part of the town ca. 1.5 km from the city centre and is accessible from there by bus (see Bus lines). The closest train station is Bayreuth Hbf (ca. 10 minutes by bus), the closest airport is Nürnberg Airport (NUE), and the university is also accessible by long-distance bus (see Flixbus).

From the main train station, the university is now served by Line 316 (direction Campus) by the stops "Mensa" and "Uni-Verwaltung". From and to the City Center, use the Line 316, Line 306 (direction Campus/Hohlmühle), Line 304 (direction Birken/Universität - the slowest) with on the whole one bus every 10 minutes.
